anuragz 4 Report post Posted January 11, 2007 Hi, i went to a tata dealer & i saw this handset Haier T1100C. This is a basic color phone but this is perhaps the most beautiful looking cdma phone i have ever seen. Moreover it only costs less than 3k. http://mobile.haier.com/English/Product/CD...100C/T1100C.htm http://www.tataindicom.com/personal/mobile...le_handsets.asp I just wanted to know your previews on this handset if anyone using it. & plz tell me if i can get it for my reliance connection ? Thanx

Honest 836 Report post Posted January 12, 2007 My dear anuragz You can definetely go for Nokia and I think there is not any other problem with LG also apart from the design. Signal strength of LG handsets is also good. Afterall LG is giving Nokia a tough competition now a days. And about Haier T1100, if the battery comes with a minimum of 2 years replacement warranty than only its worth purchasing. But I still doesn't recommed it. Regards. ani_meher 42 Report post Posted January 15, 2007 OFF Topic: Signal strength of Nokia is certainly greater than LG. I had LG6130 for 1.5 years. Now I have upgraded to N 2865. I am getting clear range even when previously the call on LG used to get disconnected.

kshah 452 Report post Posted July 23, 2008 (edited) I differ on opinion about Nokia phones in CDMA except for signal strength. 1. Service or repairing of Nokia CDMA is done only in Delhi. 2. Go and buy BL-6C battery, 1200 mAH battery cost Rs. 1500 plus. Where as BL-5C, 1050 mAH cost about 700 bucks. BL-6C is used mainly in CDMA 3. Consumables / problematic spares like Body or flex strips are to be replaced only in Delhi. 4. Minimum time to repair phone is 2 weeks.
