T9 Dictionaries

is it possible to add t9 dictionaries of other languages to the handset using bitpim? i would very much like to have a t9 french dictionary as well, since i do some messaging in french as well.

hmm.. interesting idea!

But y cant we permanently add words to the existing T9 dictionary? Is there any way to tweak it thru bitpim! lol... over imagination! I know it cant be done :'(

itz possbile. T9 is not exclusive for english language. predictive text input is available for 42 languages.

Ok Chirag here it is

Compose a message with all the word u want to add and then save the message.

now type the word in T9 u will get it as if its in the dic of T9.

anything prob let me know.

Oh i thot it was something real big ... Have done this plenty of times.. But the issue is that after sometime, the new word gets erased from the Dictionary.. Its not permanently stored! Any idea over this?

yeah chirag, same thing i've noticed ... i think there's a limit to the number of words u can store ...
