CA_PALADHI 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2008 It supports RUIM. Great news is that from now all handsets in Reliance will be RUIM based(including classic 401) .It augurs well for their GSM plan. First and foremost information is its a successor of 6265 and certainly not below 6265 in any feature. MicroSD(transflash) is more popular and tiny compared to miniSD. "physical screen is smaller than 6265" is purely an optical illusion. It supports cancatenated SMS(in LG terminology - LMS) which is missing in 6265. One important addition in this phone is it supports GPS. Whether Reliance will take advantage of this feature is left to its customer-focus strategy. Hi, I am new user of this forum. What do we mean by RUIM? I am going to Malayasia in Jan where Reliance can provide roaming only on GSM SIM. The SIM will be provided by them. Can I put GSM SIM in this set?

ranjit_konkar 0 Report post Posted January 17, 2009 It is out of stock in Ahmedabad currently. RIM is quoting 9,400 when it is back in stock while dealers are taking advantage of the shortage and quoting 10,000 ! Can someone please give me answers to the following to help me decide whether to buy 6275 or no (these are all features I had in my LG 6500 which got stolen) - - Can I search the Phonebook (Contacts list) by number as well as by name? - From the Phonebook, can I send an sms? - From the call register, can I navigate back to Contacts to maybe call back the caller on another number under his name? - From the call register, can I send the caller an sms? - From the sms register, can I call the sms sender on the same number? - From the sms register, can I navigate back to Contacts to maybe call back the sms-sender on another number under his name? - How many groups can I define for sending sms's to? - In each group how many numbers can there be, max? - Can I download the Reminders/Birthdays/Appointments/etc.? - Does the phone have a feature to give a periodic tinkle at intervals to draw attention to unread sms's? Or does it tinkle just when an sms comes in? Sorry for the long list, but would really appreciate your answers. Ranjit
