Bablus 66 Report post Posted January 21, 2007 guys.. need help i need to know of any sure shot of recording conversations... due to some contractual agreements.. i need to use only rim connection for making this calls since the activity is to be done only for a day.. cant afford very expensive instruments.. is there any way out also.. is there any way to record conversations on FWP/T? As you must be aware my dear friend that you can connect two phone instruments with Fixed Wireless Terminal (FWT). So, first you connect one instrument on the one side and on the other side you can connect the recording device. This way you can record the conversation. Regards. Bablus 66 Report post Posted January 22, 2007 mini sd have become cheap i guess... 800-1000 for 1gb i guess what would be approximate cot of LG - RD 6230... and could ppl confirm whether it has the facility of recording.. @ashok cant use loud speaker.. as its gonna be a call centre like thing many ppl calling at the same time... ---- with respect to recording instruments for connecting with FWP.. do help with contacts, if ppl have any.. thanx Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
KumaarShah 143 Report post Posted January 22, 2007 I had a 6230 till Sept.'06. I used the voice recording option. It works very well. But before taking the plunge, pl. check up thoroughly and then buy. Apprx. cost of a new 6230 is around 7k while a used one would be about 4-5k. The sound quality when you speak on a 6230 is not very good and thats why I returned the same to LG for a full refund after using it for about more than 6 months. The opposite party's voice is clear. But while recording the conversation, there appeared no voice problems. Suggest you to get hold of someone having a 6230 nearby you, and check out the features properly. Maybe for a couple of days, you can switch your number with someone having 6230 by using HCC and then return the handset back to that person, after your recording is done.
