Mp3 Not Working

I purchase a Mobile modle LG RD6230. I also purchase an additional SD memory card of 1gb capacity. Now I am able to store the picture to the external memory but unable to play the MP3. I have already downloaded MP3 songs from my computer and stored it to the external memory but unable to play in my mobile. Pl help me in doing so.

Does it show any error when you try to play it ? Does the mp3 file names show at all in the phone ?

No, To the internal memory I use to hear the default three songs and to the external memory after getting inside sound folder the message appears File not found

U have to format it by putting it in handset, then paste songs in particular folder called media/songs which is created by handset.

This should solve ur prob.

Also, the name of the file should not exceed 31 characters. Ensure you edit the name to less than 31 chars.

If after all this also your 6230 does not play mp3, take it to the ASC for repairs.

Thanks a lot. I have copied the Mp3 songs to the folder SONGS and I am now able to play mp3 songs.
