Hi Firends, I also bought a third party USB Datacable yesterday for model LG2030 for my handset LG2130 (They say the cable will work). It from some AKASAKI make.

The WINDOWS XP first is giving warnings that SOFTWARE is not WINDOWS LOGO CERTIFIED. Which is obvious and hence I am continuing with installation.

The phone gets installed as modem but does not work and the system gets hanged. Please help me out. The software upload up is not downloadable by me as it gives an error that my I.P. (Proxy Server) is already downloading a file so wait.

My email is esukhdev<at>gmail

Thank you in advance.

There is already a thread for all handset RConnect drivers:

All H/S R Connect Drivers

Topic Moved...

Vishal Major Serial Cable in Older Nokia, Older LG Handset uses

Non Standard USB-to-Serial Convector.

Some have Prolific (Dumplicate DKU5 and some LG2030 Cable have)

Some have Akasai (Another USB-2-Serial)

i have also seen more 2 Breed on USB-2-Serial Cable. Though the Connector may be Different the Main Driver Require for Prolific is same in case of DKU-5 or Older LG Serial Cable if it being made using Prolific Chipset.

Here in Topic some body have Demanded Akasai Chipset Driver and the Link You have Given dont have anything.
