Satish Kumar 0 Report post Posted March 8, 2007 Hello Everyone, I have a ZTE PCMCIA card which I use in my ThinkPad G40. Now I plan on buying a ThinkPad Z60 but I have been told it does not have a PC Card slot so I won't be able to use this ZTE Card. So, my question is are there any adapters or connectors that can be give a USB extension to a PC card? Thanks and Regards Satish Kumar

HetalDP 947 Report post Posted March 9, 2007 Yes New Laptop dont have PCMCIA Slot it either have Express 32 / 56 Slots Backed by Express Chipset PCMCIA uses old PCI-32 Architecture of Communication to Chipset. So Remember Now Onward you will see any PCMCIA Laptop else it might be using Old Chipset and processor. Time to move to New Standard. USB 2 PCMCIA is Great Option you have if you want to use old PCMCIA card
