Nokia-3125. Pc Not Detecting The Handset

Recommended Posts

Hi,

My pc sometimes does not detect the handset. It did detect last week and i was able to take the backup.

But now does not detect. When i connect the cable to the handset(when the cable is already connected to the USB port) one of these msg is displayed on the handset 1.Ready for data, or 2.Enhancement not supported.

Vishal/Ashok, pls suggest any changes if i have to, on my pc or the handset.

Thanks

Vishal

I understand your Concern But 3125 uses DKU5 or CA43 Cable, and Now I dont use this Phone or Cable Right Now, I have tried one year Before.

The Message ( 1.Ready for data, or 2.Enhancement not supported. ) is common for all Serial Phone like 3125 in Nokia But Not Detecting the Phone may be because some Serial IRQ Conflicts, Just Remove All Modem and Phones Reinstall the the Cable Driver, You must be Using the Cable with Non Standard Serial Convertor, After all Uninstallation just Reinstall the Cable Driver

^^^

Sometimes the USB cable is at fault. Try connecting with another USB cable. If it still does not connect, then maybe the fault lies elsewhere. Maybe you can also try connecting the data cable direct to the USB port on your computer or maybe try connecting the data cable to the USB cable which is connected to the USB port.

Hope this will work for you.
