ani_meher 42 Report post Posted March 17, 2007 I am looking for a branded DVD player that should be able to play all Divx & xvid files, wma, wmv etc, also should have Dolby surround, DTS, etc, should be able to play from a USB drive, support for 5.1 sound. I know this is too much, and i m currentily on the hunting mission. any inputs will be greately appriciated. also, few questions? is the a 3 cd/dvd changer in such slim players? and can we play movies from USB drive, or just mp3s? Puneet 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2007 Saw an Ad today in Times of India (Mumbai Edition) or was it Mumbai Mirror for a LG DVD player for Rs 8990/-. petar 15 Report post Posted March 18, 2007 YES. LG has launched new model with USB support. Even Pioneer has such model. I think u can plug MP3 players thru USB & play its content. Extremely thanks to all the replyers, especially Puneet to take the pains of uploading the image. I have decided to go for this player. but the problem I m facing is, this player is not available in Thane! only till Mulund. I m trying to complain to LG officials about this. ani_meher 42 Report post Posted March 22, 2007 The problem is, I want to exchange my 1.5 yr old samsung DVD Divx system for this player. I don't want to keep both the systems at home. that's why i wanted some seller from thane, who can exchange the samsung one with this LG one. the reason I am specifically asking for thane is, I have been told by the LG official shops in thane that they will not be keeping this stock, and I have to buy it from outside thane. n when i inquired at mulund, they are not ready to send a person to evaluate the exchange price. he is saying I have to take the system there even for evaluation of the price, which i don't want. that's why.
