Help ! Is This "carkit' Mms A Virus ?

Recommended Posts

I received an MMS on my LG 6130. I couldn't notice the MMS title or the sender number. I opened the MMS and nothing noticeable showed, and I just thought it was some advertisement MMS and I didn't care. But after an hour, I noticed that there was a missed call but I did not hear any ringtone. Then when I checked my Profile (to set the ringtone), I noticed that there is a new profile called: "Carkit". Due to this profile, I cannot hear any ringtone when a call comes nor cant hear the other person's voice when I get or make a call. The other person can hear me though. If I try to change the profile, a message like: "Pull out Carkit" will display. So I cannot change it now. Customer Care told me to take it to Service Center. If any have idea to solve problem please reply here.

Interesting... tried resetting the phone to factory default settings ? Make sure you backup everything first as it may remove all data.

"Carkit" is not a new profile.

It already exists in LG 6130. Although, how it automatically changed is unexplainable.

The profile is for when u use carkit while driving.

When u insert a headset, it changes to head set profile and if you try to change the profile then it displays 'pull out headset'.

Take you phone to LG service centre. That will be helpful.
