Arun 795 Report post Posted April 12, 2007 If he has more than say 75 minutes of incoming calls when roaming, then the best choice would be a Reliance postpaid connection with the roaming pack for a rental of Rs.100 (for the pack) per month and he can receive calls for 30 paise per minute when roaming. I think TATA Indicom has a roaming pack which allows more (or even unlimited ?) calls when roaming, though I am not sure whether it is available now, maybe if someone has it can tell you here. supernova 47 Report post Posted April 12, 2007 best option for : 1. incoming is roaming roaming pack of 100 as arun mentioned . 2. for outgoing india cards can be used . 3. to furthur save money if your friend dont use onnet pack or cug ; and he goes for some days in roaming then he can go for min rent plan while in roaming . it wud be beneficial if he go for plan change from say plan 399 to 124 in roaming . Vishal Gupta 4 Report post Posted April 13, 2007 Actually, he needs a connection mostly for incoming and a few outgoings. So pls suggest a plan in any mobile service, (like BSNL, AirTel, Idea, Hutch, reliance, tata), which will be beneficial for him. Will Reliance be best for him or is there any other better option? Greens 21 Report post Posted April 14, 2007 I think Reliance Roaming pack is much cheaper than any other operator. TATA gives 500 mins roaming incoming calls for a Rental of Rs.349.
vijaykv 5 Report post Posted April 14, 2007 I think Reliance Roaming pack is much cheaper than any other operator. TATA gives 500 mins roaming incoming calls for a Rental of Rs.349. Hi, I do agree with him. It was TATA cheaper with 150 free incoming pack. As they have stopped that package, RIM's 99 package is better. i.e. 30 pasie per minute for incoming. I frequently use this and found it quite satisfying. Regards Vijay
