Well, Airtel (Mah & Goa) charges Rs. 100 as access fee on Rs. 350 voucher. Besides this there is a value voucher for around Rs. 50 which brings call rates down to 50 paise. So these new plans seem more like jugglery ...in fact may be more expensive for heavy users as call rates are higher!

I feel all operators should be prohibited form charging access free. It will make tariff comparision so much simpler if we just have to compare tariffs on a 60 second pulse! I guess Tata was the 1st to have this kind of tariff structure...

The standard 3350 recharge is valid for 365 days and has a admin chrg of 300 i.e. 25 per month with regular tariff. seems to be a better option.
