Background Music.. Now During The Call

Airtel launches 'background music' from Financial Express

CHENNAI, MAY29: Mobile service provider, Airtel, said it has launched Airtel "Backrground Music", a unique service that allows customers to set their favourite song or instrumental piece as background music during a call.

A press release said that the feature enables Airtel customers to play their favourite music in the background while speaking on the phone. The BGM can be selected from songs on the Airtel IVR, it said.

The Airtel customer needs to call 676 and can download songs for all calls or customise for specific calls.

A monthly rental of Rs 25 will be charged for this service, with each download at Rs 10, the release added.

Airtel..is always the first one to intiate these type of services..

and other operators lik always follow airtel..

Aircel was the first one off the block in Chennai. They have introduced it here almost 4 - 5 months back. But yes, they did it alongwith Caller Tunes. So they were late for Caller Tunes. Now Airtel has copied them.

Airtel is always last in launching the scheme and 1st in doing the advertisement for the scheme. its true for all the Airtel VAS and the plans

So my dear friends lets hope that this service will soon be available with Reliance and Hutch also. I'm eager to use this facility.
