Reading ESN in Nokia RUIM Based Phone

Phone Supported are

Nokia 2865

Nokia 3125

Nokia 2112 (Tata)

Nokia 6012i

Just type the Following thing

*3001#12345#

then It will Display the menu Just Look for SIM ID / UIM ID and

Write down the 13 DIgit Number

Then Split the Number in 2 Part means if the ID is 1234567890123 then Split it into

123 and 4567890123

Then Convert First 123 into Hexadecimal using Calculator

Then Convert Remaing ten Digit into Hexa and Merge the Number

The 8 Character String u will get will be the ESN Hexa Format

Reading ESN using GTRAN GCP 4020

Insert RUIM and make the phone on then Connect the Data Cable and Read SPC og nvm_002 file using Bitpim there u can find 6 Digit SPC Code of NVM of Phone and not of RUIM

then

Dial the FOllowing code in GTRAN

01#626 and then give the SPC u read using BitPim

so in next Screen ESN of RUIM is displayed

SPC of RUIM I think can be read using SIM reader. I have SIM reader (250 bucks worth) but do not read. May be some other can read.

GemPlus and GemXPlore software with USB2 Reader can solve it i think but the cost is Rs. 6000

is have CDMA Specific version also can also Provides Blank CDMA RUIM in which we can Program ESN, SPC and Other Parameters for First Time .

Convert your HUAWEI data card to RUIM

Insert RUIM and connect the data card to your computer.

Start the huawei software. goto tools and selelct diagnostics an d you can see the ESN of the RUIM there

yes u will get a 11 digit number uim id ...it is your dec esn ....

now u need to convert the dec esn to hex esn

the simplest way to do it is to use online converter like this one http://www.elfqrin.com/esndhconv.html

just put 11 digit uim id in dec and u will get eight digit hex esn

for qpst to detect phone u need diagnostic drivers if i m not mistaken

Which LG phone do you have? Does it has a micro usb port if yes then go to market...purchase Nokia C101 data cable and use that to connect your LG phone to computer and use UniCDMA to read the ESN and MIN. Also download phone drivers from Reliance site...
