kams19 0 Report post Posted June 16, 2007 hey puneet, pl can u help me with activating wap on 6235. I have enabled the web browser, put the above mentioned IP add and port. Puneet 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2007 Are the server IP addresses region specific? I was in Jabalpur (MP) for about 10 days and I was not able to connect to internet on Opera. All network setup tests failed. It didn't work for a day on my return to Mumbai, but started working last night. Is the setting region specific or is WAP/Opera enabled only in certain cities? Kunal Hemrajani 1 Report post Posted July 12, 2007 yeah..puneet da same ting happened wid me.. last week i was in Varanasi..n da wap wasnt workin at all.. about a month bak..wen i was in delhi ..it was workin jus fyn.. n about 2 months bak..i was in bangalore..n da wap wasnt workin.. accordin to me ..wap is enabled in only certain cities.. Hmm RIM might had some problem last week, even i couldnt connect to net for 2 days, but after that its working fine. I wasnt moving in and out of mumbai, so i guess wap is not region specific...... raj_raj_in_in 1 Report post Posted August 2, 2007 hi, Cannot connect to net today . Yesterday was working fine but since morning its giving error of " connection time out". BTW, what are the charges applied when i surf the net? i am in prepaid. I asked this at WW they told me R-connect charges is applied i.e. 60paise per min in day and 30 paise per min during night. I have been logging on net thru my mobile since month but never bother to check the charges. I was under impression that R-world charges are applied i.e. 10 paise per 10kb. Cheers.
