sklm 0 Report post Posted June 14, 2007 Hi all members... When we make a call in CDMA network we can see the location (SDCA) on the screen like "Raipur / Pune". In GSM we even can see the actual location in a city like "Karlbag / VT Station" in ideal mode. Is it possible to see the location of the called person? Just imagine this, we make a call to a person, after first ring it shows the dialed person's location. It can solve so many problems relating lying... Give your opinion on the good side and the bad side of this technology if possible. (I think it is not too difficult to implement.) Thanks

ani_meher 42 Report post Posted June 14, 2007 actually that's the beauty of mobiles, that u can be anywhere, n pretend to be anywhere. i certainly would not want that to be taken away...
raccoon 53 Report post Posted June 14, 2007 Preposterous! I would not stand for callers knowing my location! I think mobiles themselves are an intrusion on your privacy ...and this would be the last straw!
