mmjain 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2007 (edited) With help of Hetal we have sucessfully converted the HUAWEI Data card to RUIM. Steps 1. Read the SPC of your data card using bitpim 2. Use CDMA workshop and connect to the correct com port 3. unlock the card by sending the SPC in the security TAB 4. select the "other" tab 5. read ruim setting from phone and you will get NV only 6. Change it to "RUIM if Avail" and write back to card restart your data card with a RUIM and you will boot up with the RUIM No. If you remove the RUIM you can boot up with the data card number Edited June 15, 2007 by mmjain Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Anil_S 6 Report post Posted October 15, 2007 Hi, can you explain how to do it. Does that mean that if I have a decativated card, by inserting RIUM, I can use Data Card. I have a data card which is not being used. I was using 2112, which has gone bad. Now I am on Classic, which can't be used for R connect. Can aneyone please guide me, how to convert my 'HUAWEI - EC325' in to RUIM, I have downloaded CDMA Workshop v2.7.0 (cracked) (if aneyone of you want it then i can post the link for it here), as Mahendra Jain has given the instructions..... Im still having some problems 'I guess he has given the instructions for EC321, and i have EC325 (are they both deferent?) Guys please help me out, ill be waiting for your reply.....
