Dj 25 Report post Posted August 7, 2007 yes it takes a tad bit longer to wake up and ring but a minute is like too much... is it possible for u guys to time it and we can compare... okay before checking u have to ensure that the ringtone u have set is in the main memory... lets say old phone... sutarianiral 1 Report post Posted August 8, 2007 may be you guys would be using a whole mp3 song file as a ringtone .. which some times ranges high upto 8 mbs!!.. i use soundforge and make small 30 secs. ringtones from the mp3 files .. helps in reducing the wake up time.! amitoberoi 0 Report post Posted August 9, 2007 Phone too slow with F release. Had to revert back to cooking a clean rom from Helmi's Kitchen 1.0.4. After flashing i install the 2 or 3 softwares i use seperately. Now the phone is working better with no hangups or hard resets till now. I have one issue though. I am running Vista business, PPC syncs fine, can install apps but now it will not sync with Outlook 2007. I also suggest u to install kervins plain ROM as u majorly use it for SMS, u will get faster SMS sending and more out of ur battery. I think now you will be free soon from shackles of reliance, its locked and outdated handset and due to which wastage of huge amount of time. I will be free very soon. AS I too am fed up with handsets, its features and prices at PAR with GSM operators. Also I have to keep one GSM handset standby for international roaming. So why not to use GSM in first place. I also want to know what is the effect of wwe or aku on ppc working? What is this WWE or Aku ? I want a pain mobile efficiently working in sense of sms calls and battery life. Sorry to hear that however I am very Thankful for all you have done for my PPC6700 I absolutely love it because of you and your generous programming. I have flashed every new rom on ppcgeeks (since I'm the resident PPC6700 expert at work) and have always found myself returning to yours. I know longer am envious of either the iphonoe (your information has been very helpful) or a Mogul because your roms and forums have been outstanding.
