What will be the necessary things to get it working.. if possible.

i suppose changing from reliance cdma to tata is illegal...

If ou are not talking about changing ESN than its legal. To register your phone to tata, you have to change SID/NID and PRL. then go to tata, give them ESN of handset, activate on tata.

one thing i would like to say to u...that whatevr experiment u do with ur handset ...just get it done in lg service centre..

local shops ...................they just .......solve one problem and put 10 more....hhehheeeee
