Handset Buying Advice For Office/ General Usage

Recommended Posts

Hi

Ive just got a Reliance connection from my office, but with the ancient LG 2630 with a broken screen.

I need help buying a good mid range handset for office usage. Will be making atleast 30 calls a day and recieve abt the same. Will need to have a day or two's charge and be easy on the ear. Im not looking at spending too much. ideally around 5 to 7K. It would be great if it had bluetooth and a good menu system.

My problem is that ONLY the Nokia 6275 is avlbl in Bangalore, and that too at prices ranging from 9999 to 11500. The only other phones avlbl are the cheap Classic handsets, and i dont like their menu interface. Im not too kicked about LG either as ive heard that they heat up and have bad battery life.

Can someone point me towards where i can buy the right phone?

I currently have a personal SPICE connection which i use on my fav N-Gage QD and Nokia 3660 on diff days. I dont want to invest in a dead end handset that i wont want to use /enjoy using on a daily basis.

I also want info on what its like browsing the internet / accessing websites on the phone itself.

Do spend some time and let me know your thoughts

The King is Lost in Rel.World without a handset

Too many expectation from Reliance and its junk hardware... Lol. You will have a tough time finding what you need... esp. the battery life issue ...since your usage is high. Better think about GSM! Loads of choices there.

FYIW not all LG CDMA handsets have heating issues. And recently some models with "enhanced" battries were launched (cant recall the models) ...but I dont know if you will find them easily in the market ...as it seems RCL is just intrested in promoting Classics now...
