Honest 836 Report post Posted August 7, 2007 ^^^ In my opinion both of you must use the PING method. You can find the thread about the same through search command on rimweb. I too suffered a lot due to this my dear friends. But after using the PING method my problem solved. No dormancy mode at all. Regards.

Honest 836 Report post Posted August 8, 2007 ^^^ @adiveppa My dear friend for frequent disconnections and dormancy mode you can use the PING method. And for the problem "port already in use", you have to restart your computer. Regards.
manraval 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2007 Yep, I've experienced this problem of disconnection, too. The best and perhaps the only way to fix this is something like ping www.yahoo.com -t and you'll never run into a dormancy state problem
satrohraj 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2007 i experience this type of problem too. But i can't understand the solution you guys are giving. What do you mean - 'ping www.yahoo.com' ? What does Ping method mean? Thank You.

linuxguy 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2007 Open up a command window like this: Goto Start Menu -> Run -> type cmd.exe -> Press Enter key Then type -> ping google.com -t And this should solve your problem!
dxunlimited 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2007 With ref. to PING command, what is the significance of the site name in the syntax? Can it be any site name or google.com? If so, why?
