Thanks rivzk for mentioning the correct number to see the hidden menu using *#*#3282#*#* on my galaxy pop i559. I too did not get any sort of username under this menu but I got hidden menu showing Data Programming > MMS Domestic setting (Enabled domestic mms mode). Perhaps, it will solve my mms issue which I could not resolve till yet after passing of two months of buying this phone. I will update this thread asap i will get succeeded. Thanks again!

A huge thanks to you too for helping we RIMwebians to getting EVDO registered and also for sorting out other queries. Now, I have one issue which I could not fix yet after getting EVDO registered. It is regarding APN settings in Samsung Galaxy POP i559 cdma handset. I have followed the steps that you had mentioned in very first post of this thread. But, this could not help to use internet on this device. One more thing that CC executive told me that I could not use internet on this POP handset, is it true? If no, please help me to sort out this bug. Thanks in advance. -

Nothing can be done. Reliance CDMA users can not use internet on their mobile devices as per reliance customer executives. I have samsung pop i559 cdma phone with prepaid connection. I have succeeded to activate EVDO with the help of Amit Jain from this forum. I am much thankful to them. But, as I tried a number of times to use internet on my phone but of no use. There are appearing EV and 1x on top of the phone screen with signal strength bars. It was appearing before activating EVDO services. Can anyone help me to sort out this problem and let me know how to use internet on my cdma phone being a reliance user? Thanks in anticipation. None of the reliance CC executives come up with the solution how to use internet on Samsung POP i559 cdma phone. They said that it is impossible to use internet. Only can be done thru R-world which is not showing up on this device. One more thing, they suggested me to use this device as a modem and work on ur lappy or PC. So, dear forum members, do you have any clue as how to use internet on cdma mobile? Your help would be much appreciated. -
How to open this given link? Since, I don't have r-world in my phone settings. If I use internet browser in my phone, then it asks for network connection. Would you please elaborate this process of accessing the given link. Thanks much for your effort!

Yes. I received confirmation msg "Congratulation! NET50 has been successfully activated on your phone. Thank you. Reliance." and Rs 5 was deducted from my main balance. But, I could not utilise this due to unavailability of APN settings. -

Sir, have you started to use internet on your phone. As I am unable to use internet on my SCH-I559. I have activated a pack too by sending msg ACT NET50. I received its confirmation too but not able to use internet. Perhaps, it will ruin Rs 5 by midnight as no clue I have how to use internet. Thanks in advance for helping me! Regards, -
I have upgraded RUIM to OMH by visiting R-world store for my samsung galaxy pop sch i559. But, in hale, it still not showing R-world and UIM toolkit icon not working.

Oh yes! It's still working. I have activated this pack now by following the procedure described here and it has deducted Rs 5 from my main phone balance. Since, I am using Samsung Galaxy Pop i559, I am unable to connect internet by creating new APN with name, user, PPP, password as my phone number. Is there anything else that I have missed out? There is one more thing in this phone is "Use Packed Data" option. Before activating EVDO, I had enabled this to activate internet as mentioned by my samsung vendor. It worked too but also it ****ed out my main balance in few seconds with bad internet speed. So, I am not activating this option this time. Could any one help me to sort out this issue? Hi Amit, I have also purchased Samsung Pop SCH-I559 cdma handset and used my old reliance CDMA sim card. But, this handset asked me to upgrade the SIM and I did so by visiting web world. But, I found that R-World has gone missing from the menu. I am unable to use internet on this. CC could not fix this bug. One of them told me that internet can not be access on CDMA phones. How literate they are! BTW, I am thankful to you that you have started this thread and taken care of fixing these issues. I have mailed the details on evdo@rimweb.in to get assistance to activate EVDO on my OMH sim too. Hope, I too can be benefited from this forum. Thanks again for your assistance. Best wishes,
